"Our whole family enjoyed a wonderful stay just before Christmas at the 'Basedow' unit. The apartment is very lovely, in a quite, but very convenient location in the heart of the wine country. I can strongly recommend to stay there."

"Basedow Units were excellent budget accommodation. A friend and I stayed in the 2 bedroom unit in early Dec 2006. I would best describe it as going to stay at a friend's holiday unit. Its not new and modern, but it is comfortable, very clean and the rooms are generous. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is adequate, especially for breakfast/tea. But it is an easy walk to the main street (10 mins) with nice restaurants, or there are pizza places that deliver! Overall we had a great experience and May was lovely to deal with."

"The unit was truely a "home away from home" with all of the conveniences of being at home. Our stay was for 6 nights and we loved every minute of it from touring the wineries to hot air ballooning and returning at the end of a long day to a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Thanks May. I would certainly recommend it to others."

We particularly appreciated your welcoming attitude to dogs, which is quite rare in the tourism industry. Our old Labrador also had a great time."

"We have stayed at Barossa Valley two times before at different locations and were very disappointed with the level of accommodation for a number of factors so we were dubious about going back again. However we are very pleased we did. The Unit was very homely and had everything that we could ask for. The music was on, the heater was on and felt very welcome. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting reasonably priced accommodation. It would be great for families too. The name certainly does not give it justice."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Basedow Units. We were very happily surprised at how very homely and well maintained the units were. May is so very lovely and does a wonderful job keeping everything very clean and all of the little extra touches just make it wonderful. We all definitely felt like we had a home away from home. Would definatley reccomend a stay at the wonderful Basedow Units and we will definately be back."
